this does not bode well

Cannot concentrate on limbic system anatomy. Not even a little. Too busy thinking about Bones. SOMETHING IS WRONG IN MY BRAINPARTS.

Actually for the most part I blame this fic which is everything my cold and cynical heart could have desired when it comes to the successful resolution of the emotional mess that is Booth/Brennan. I am usually lukewarm on babyfic, man, but this one is AMAZING.

So now I am sitting here thinking about the Five Things I am going to write for Brynn, and the Five Things Brynn is going to write for me, and whether I could successfully fill in the gaps in my Epic Romance, and how much I want to reread that fic, and how much I want there to be MORE BONES IN GENERAL.

~

In other news, it is still unreasonably cold. But I am wearing a military-style jacket over a red tutu-ish skirt and black fishnets and dark red ankle boots with a chunky heel, so I feel like I could kick the ass of any weather silly enough to get in my way.

Get back to work!

I rather liked brain anatomy. As for the limbic I remember something about the amygdala and that's about it...good old Biological Basis of Behaviour with Dr Brinkman.

I see you are sticking with your colour scheme.

Bones involves anatomy! So that's... almost like studying?

I -- well -- yes (http://www.flickr.com/photos/36233810@N04/3484598206/).

*sheepish*

(The jacket, not featured there, is also black. I'm sure you're surprised.)

Sadly I can only convince myself of that when I can pretend I'm writing about osteology instead of HOW MUCH THEY ARE IN LOVE.

[identity profile] brynnmck.livejournal.com 2009-04-29 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, I'm sure their love ALSO involves anatomy! IJS. Though probably with a slightly different level of detail than your studies require. *g* (P.S. THEY ARE SO IN LOVE. I may need to get a Booth/Brennan icon if there's going to be fic.)

ha ha, never would have guessed.

It looks good, it is certainly a colour scheme that suits you well.

And now *cracks whip* :P

When one is wearing an outfit that could kick the ass of weather itself, one is obligated to take pictures for one's internet friends.

That is straight from Emily Post, you know.

This one (http://www.flickr.com/photos/36233810@N04/3484598206/) does not have the jacket in it, but the weather has just gone to shit so there is not enough light for me to take another.

Okay, even without jacket I WHOLEHEARTEDLY APPROVE that outfit. You look gorgeous in a badass way, and I covet that skirt.

Man, there need to be more wardrobe posts on my flist! I have a serious thing for looking at other people's clothes. *plots*

Well, I have gotten into the habit of taking pictures of outfits I like, now that I have my iMac and her INBUILT CAMERA. Though the only place I can really stand is in front of the bathroom door, so all pictures also include the chaos that is my futon & bookshelf.

I also wish my flist would spam me with wardrobe posts all the time! But have a feeling some people would find too many pictures of my clothes annoying.

I wouldn't! I would love it. It would inspire me to actually put on pants more often. (I'm unemployed. It's a pants-optional lifestyle.)

Also, I figure as long as you stick it behind an LJ-cut, people can always skip right over.

I just have to say that I second this approval, and also this request! I always want to see what people are wearing. Because I am shallow in that way. (This despite never reciprocating, because . . . I do not have a digital camera.)
