a) better than yesterday

b) better than it has been so far.

I refuse to be feeling this crappy about my life this early in the academic year.

Really? In the non-ironic sense? Because I don't feel particularly inspirational as a general rule, and now more so than ever. My life seems like it would be screamingly uninteresting to anyone else.
