Read! Depending on what sort of fic I'm trying to write I might go for Ondaatje or Winterson or Palahniuk, and usually I might end up rereading anything by pogrebin or spikeyboots if I just want to get my words moving.

As for the 'where my ideas come from' inspiration, that is never something I seek out. It is something that happens to me.
