*cracks knuckles*
Okay. Last day of frantic study before BARRIER EXAMS. I have playlists full of Enya and Riverdance (apparently I study well to random Irish music?) and some Disney songs lined up to bop around to during breaks. (Oh yeah, I am the coolest medical student in the world, with the possible exception of
pirateygoodness.)
ANYWAY. FLIST. YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT:
leave me some insta-cheer in comments?
Write me a ridiculous crossover drabble! Link me to a fantastic fic or comic! Or just spam me with your favourite macros/other silly pictures that I could put in my LOL folder. That folder needs some new material.
And if I try to chat to you, humour me for like five minutes and then tell me to go away and study.
THANKS GUYS.

This was clearly an emergency and there was only one thing to be done.
"I will take the ring to Mordor!" Tamaki announced, springing up onto the table. "Though - I do not know the way -"
He glanced Meaningfully at Kyouya, but unfortunately the look was wasted, as Kyouya had pulled up Google Maps to plan out this precise journey ten minutes ago.*
Of course Kyouya's Blackberry can reach the internet in parallel universes, do you think that the Ootori family would neglect a little function like that?

Uh. . .I wore my Zac Efron earrings to lecture today? Also, the prof teaching us the cell biology of muscle is HILARIOUS (since it is all review to me) and mixes metaphors like it is his JOB. Apparently myosin and actin in a sarcomere are like two parallel canoes, and one is full of cobras and the other is covered in boat bumpers that are also centipedes and when calcium enters, the centipedes get pulled away so the myosin-head cobras can strike the adjacent canoe.
I want to take him HOME with me.

This may be my favourite comic strip just now (http://tolkien.com.pl/kasiopea/ang/strony/BIIP_IX_2.htm). But seriously the entire series is gold (http://tolkien.com.pl/kasiopea/ang/galeriakomiks1.htm).
If just because ickle Boromir is the most adorable thing that ever racked the nerves of nannies and teachers.
But, yeah, you probably knew those. I just couldn't think of anything else on the spot.

"Kaoru!"
Hikaru launched himself at his twin, but Gandalf was already towing the other, significantly stunned Hitachiin brother towards the door, and Shadowfax.
"Fool of a Hitachiin," he said, furiously, "this outpouring of brotherly affection should have come before you encouraged your brother to use the palantir to make provoking faces at the Dark Lord!"

Last one before I go home for the night!
"Thirty-five," said Legolas to Gimli, as he unstrung his bow, but his heart clearly was not in it.
As one, the elf and the dwarf turned to look at Mitsukuni Haninozuka, who was sharing his fifteenth piece of lembas with Bun-bun.
Apparently by purest chance, the pile of orc bodies mounded up next to him - three times as high as even Aragorn was tall - bore an unnerving resemblance in shape to the stuffed bunny.

Also, naturally you study well to random Irish music, because random Irish music is excellent. Remind me to let you plunder my collection thereof sometime ;).

And if that doesn't work, have some of the Mal/Inara fic that I've been working on:
He backs away and she instantly feels the lack of warmth. He takes one step and hesitates, turns back. "Inara, I..." he starts, and she thinks she really will punch him if he apologizes. It would only be fitting, as he's the one who taught her the right hook.
His face warms in that way of his that isn't quite a smile. "Just...stick around a while," he says.

Re: i don't even know
"You prattle of nonsense," Eowyn told her with a cold edge to her voice, "and I have work to be about." Firmly, she turned away.
If she cast one last glance at Takashi Morinozuka, it was nothing anyone should remark on; and among her duties, in any case, was the provisioning of these new warriors come to join the Riders of the Mark. She had spoken to Takashi Morinozuka once : he had said nothing, but only listened with grave courtesy, and returned to his fellows and the blond child who seemed to be his dearest friend. They would ride out; but she would stay in the gilded cage of Meduseld's Hall, by her uncle's word, a woman and relegated to a woman's place, and that was the end of it.
Behind her, the young woman was crowing something about bowls of rice.

Re: i don't even know
Haruhi looked as if she was about to say something, but Kyouya spoke first. "Tamaki," he said, "it's rather rude of you to not have introduced yourself to the future Lady of Gondor, don't you think?"
"- you're right!" said Tamaki, stricken, and went sparkling off in Eowyn's direction.
Kyouya returned his attention to Haruhi. "Yes?"
"I'm very glad you both made it back safely," said Haruhi, looking up at Kyouya, "but what I don't understand is that if you knew about the secret backdoor route all the time, then why did it take you a month to get there in the first place?"
"Tamaki wanted to see the sights," said Kyouya. Haruhi shot an incredulous look at him, but intercepted only the glinting light from his glasses. In the same uninflected tone, he continued, "I had also calculated a 75% chance that you were fated to destroy the Lord of the Nazgul on a technicality, and if Tamaki were in the area at the time -"
They both paused to consider the mental image of Tamaki lunging in between Haruhi and the Lord of the Nazgul with a shouted TAMA-CHAN SMASH!
"Thank you," said Haruhi.
