I am completely wowed and....oh, just, calmed and excited at the same time--my brain singing a kind of "yes yes yes" in response. This story is utterly my favorite kind of...ok, I think it would be categorized as sci-fi, but I love it because it's that as a side note, as a mirror to reflect love and society and AWESOMENESS. (And that is my favorite kind of sci-fi.)

You created a new musical instrument!! That alone won me over, and then there are robots and revolutions and children's rhymes and poetry...and girls fighting entrophy and falling in love and needing to be wound up, and it's all so beautiful.

And because there was so much beautiful language, a sampling of lines I liked:
No time to think or to melt.
the challenges in Anna's face
Love: the involuntary suspension of disbelief.
Freeze the desert and shatter it against its own rocks...
"Don't waste time," she says as the tray slides into her waiting grasp. "It's not yours to waste."
Maybe we would take very well to implausible situations.
