not everything is uniform

Well, that was a lovely evening out drinking and bonding with med people as we celebrated the end of Block 2. I adore Darling Harbour at night; it's one of the reasons I moved to a big city in the first place. Lights on the water! Pretty people wandering around! The weather not being freezing cold. Help, I'm becoming a Sydneysider.

Currently: gulping down water and hoping I haven't forgotten to pack anything. I think one of the cardinal signs of medstudenthood is that when packing a small suitcase to go home for a week, your folder of notes takes up a good third of the space.

Hoooooome tomorrow. And then I'm spending the weekend in Melbourne with three of my favourite people in the world, and we're going to go and see Wicked and go to the zoo and it's going to be, as Barney would put it, legendary.

WINTER HOLIDAYS. ILU.

I will have free time again soon, no worries. After about two days I had the realization that, as usual, I can do less than half as much work as everybody else and still perform as well or better in class. (Unfortunately? Well, unfortunately for my work ethic.)

Your brilliance saves us! At the expense of your work ethic. I find this an acceptable sacrifice.
