If I look somewhat manic in my hospital ID card, it's because I am EXHAUSTED and was already exhausted by the middle of the day, which is when that picture was taken. (The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is enormous. And confusing. And scary.)

Though any pictures taken of me now would probably fail to adequately capture the agony and trembling currently engulfing both of my arms. Lugging those books from the MedSoc Bookshop to my college room -- an admittedly short distance! -- was horrible. Even though just turning around to look at them makes me feel gleeful.

And yes, the thing on top is my lab coat and the thing on the left is my stethoscope :D
