Oh man, I wrote that fic in the last few panicked hours before deadline and nobody will convince me that it's not terrible until I have some distance from it. I'm sure I'll like it in another week or so.

I think I do prefer S1's tone. I still haven't finished S2 because...I don't know, I can sense massive train wrecks up ahead.
