Six years since I last cried, eight years since I last cried in front of someone else, and I've never come as close to losing it as I did tonight. This would have been serious drought-breaking monsoon stuff, too. Screaming and the punching of walls was considered.
A LESS THAN STELLAR BEGINNING TO THE MID-SEMESTER BREAK. BUCK UP, UNIVERSE.
(Nothing awful actually happened, I will hasten to assure you: I'm just having a nasty coincidence of hormones, the usual Easter sickness when my immune system (having held off obligingly all term) suddenly crashes, and the culmination of two weeks without more than six or seven hours of sleep a night.)
I am using my Azula icon to remind myself that I have some meta about her character to chew over. Most likely it will end up as one of my ridiculously overambitious fics.
