Thoughts on Aida:
1) I wonder if I could get Elton John and Tim Rice to compose, say, my life?
(Hey, they did Hamlet with lions. This is not such a big stretch.)
2) Adam Pascal as Radames is intensely distracting. The moment he started singing I got a mental image of Roger in a gold loincloth and now it refuses to leave my head.
3) WHERE HAS THIS MUSICAL BEEN ALL MY LIFE? I love it.
