LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE HAVE REACHED THE HOME STRETCH.

Ahem. I find myself unable to follow [livejournal.com profile] setissma's fine example of posting something of substance, mostly because there is very little of substance in my head. I have a long, complex report intro/lit review to pull together from pages and pages of typed notes, and the afternoon stretches ahead of me full of...something. Maybe promise. Maybe boredom. Definitely coffee.

When I finish I am going to reward myself by watching Wire in the Blood, because I miss Tony & Carol something fierce.

Life is tres busy. Being a techie for The Secret Garden is fun. The cast is phenomenally talented at singing. Unfortunately, the girl playing Mary can't act, and is therefore eclipsed by everyone around her. Makes me want to watch the moviiiieee and I can't because I have no time. wah.

I need to watch Dr. Who, if only because Actor David Man (I mix up his last name with several other famous Davids') is slide-off-your-seat-in-a-puddle gorgeous. Yes, I am shallow.

P.S. Logan Echolls is my homeboy, and by homeboy I mean boy I frequently want to beat up. PLAYGROUND LOVE.

Techie for a musical, oh oh oh. This is me turning green. Sounds fabulous.

TENNANT *icons at you*. Yes. I also recommend the BBC miniseries of Casanova (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0427042/), and Blackpool (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0408375/), which is...um...insane. And also a musical!

That is possibly the best articulation of the way I feel about Logan. I love him, but sometimes he would just be really fun to punch.

I ♥ theatre. I wish I had tried out. My voice isn't as strong as actress Mary's, but I look young enough for the part and I know I wouldn't be a bitch to the rest of the cast, as she is so reputed. DIVA SOPRANOS REPRESENT.

Eee! And yes, TENNANT. I keep saying Thewlis which leads to crazy Dr. Who/Remus and I will go sit in this corner now.

I AM AFEARED TO SEEK OUT LOGAN FIC. I absolutely did not want to love him as I do, because I know what fandom does to a character like that. Give me Major Issues, plz, not fluffiness.

Hahahaha. Doctor/Remus, huh? That is especially disturbing considering that David Tennant played Barty Jr. in Goblet of Fire.

OH I KNOW. I don't really want to touch VMars fandom. I quite liked Veronica&Logan in canon, I don't want it ruined by fic.

The HP movies need to stop making the bad guys hot. I mean, really.

Veronica&Logan is one of my favorite canon relationships ever, but I know that fandom likes to pretend that there is a 98% chance of the relationship crashing and burning, and most of the 2% is them continually breaking and making up, with no real stability. Makes for great TV and mostly bad fic.

Also: the whole 98% thing should read "is NOT" rather than "is" because the idea of fandom as that sane is laughable.

I watched most of the Eccleston series in two days, I was so in love. I am rationing the Tennant series right now, and haven't watched any for ages because I keep downloading new BSG or Grey's and now there is TORCHWOOD as well, so...these holidays, I'll get up to date.
