Gee, That Fahye Sure Updates A Lot When She's Meant To Be Working.

Now that we've dealt with that: in a stunning display of bad timing, Placebo are playing in Canberra and I CAN'T GO because of my residential choir rehearsal weekend.

*sulks*

Sooo. Canberrans. Who wants to come and see Cirque de Soleil's Varekai with me in March next year? Tickets are on sale already.

ME.

....though I'm actually intending on trying to work there for the sheer fun of it, since ushering at a Cirque du Soleil show? SO COOL (plus you get literally paid to see the show) :)

...DUDE, YES. How does one get THAT job?

Oh, btw -- not going to choir tomorrow night. Perth friend is in town and we're booked into Iori for dinner. I've already bought all the tea stuff -- are you going to be in uni early so that I can maybe meet you up and leave it with you? I should be able to pick it all up afterwards, or come for the second half of rehearsal.

Apply only through the recruitment company:

http://www.adecco.com.au/cds/cds.htm

Apps for the Canberra show open 20 January.

I did ushering for the previous show (Quidam) and that was AWESOME (plus the pay is great XD)

...right. Jan 20th is marked on my wall calendar. I am there.

I am feeling very proactive in terms of employment tonight. I just printed off a CV and cover letter and am going to apply to be a Christmas casual at DJs this summer.

You slacker. Hmm. I'll be in a health psych lab until 5, and there's a committee meeting at 6, but I'll be pottering around campus finding dinner in between those times. I can always bow out of the meeting in favour of sitting in MCC standing guard over the urns. What do you think? Time/place?

And yes, you'd better come to the second half of rehearsal, because I won't have a car :D

Me too XD hopefully previous Cirque experience makes things much easier.

And Cirque pays GOOD. $18/hr, and you serve a shift for each show which is about 4 hours. Weekends there are two shows. Sundays are double-time. Sunday shifts are v-e-r-y popular XD

How about 6:15 behind MCC?

See you there, then :P I should also give you camp stuff as well O.o
ext_21673: (excellently done - if god did all)

Yeeees, you probably should. I need to hand in my money this week.
