finally, a real update
Okay. I have finally reached that stage in the holidays where I actually have nothing to do - actually scratch that I have plenty to do but I DON'T WANNA DO IT. So I am blissfully online and doing whatever I please. I just did Cathy and Ben's quizzes and topped the scoreboard on BOTH OF THEM. HOW is it possible that I know more about Ben than Cathy does?? Actually it's probably because I know a lot about Terry Pratchett. But it was still scary.
Anyway, I have not seen the inside of my house much these past couple of days. Dragon Skin meeting, Teegs' house - which ROCKED, MKR is EXCEEDINGLY cool - then the dance party, with much dancing, consuming of brie, watching Zack The Adorable dance crazily, discovering the Live Ryuuchi and singing Super Drive. I don't think I've ever been happier than I was during that song.
Then YESTERDAY I slept for ages then met Anna and Eujar in Woden, shopped for birthday presents for Emily and ended up buying her a gaint unwieldy glittery butterfly and some LOTR poem book. Went to bus interchange, SAW the damn 34 at the platform, ran towards it in a VERY obviously frantic manner and just as we reached it the driver closed the doors and drove off. Stupid prick. So we WALKED the whole way home.
We THEN watched the first four episodes of Evangelion, which I did like quite a lot. Shinji the Angst Puppy quite cute. Enjoyed watching Ritsuko, who you may remember is the girl Eujar and Anna decided was ME, being bossy and cool. She's a good character, but apparently her love interest is awful. Ah well, can't have EVERYTHING. But it would be nice to have at least ONE of my characters get lucky. Presea DIES in the first DVD (Stupid Fuu!!! STUPID!! She has this wonderful healing magic and just stands there looking sad!! GRRRRR!!! *coughs* Sorry Ali. But that is the most irritating plothole ever.) and Integra of course has a snowball's chance in hell of getting a love interest. At least Aya has Tooya and Yuuhi *smug smile* Ha.
What else? Went to Emily's party which was surprisingly bearable, and ate far too mcuh pizza and wedges and mudcake. Blah, I'm going hiking in two days.
So today I have nothing to do but go shopping for hike food and pack and perhaps do some more cleaning. To earn money which now CANNOT be spent on Sydney trip because I CAN'T GO so will probably be for X manga. Or possibly a TAmarket order.
Looking forward to tomorrow - LOTS of MKR!! Will buy lots of goodies on my shopping trip but if others could bring either money or food for lunch then that would be good :-)
