letter of appreciation :)

This post has no point other than for me to sort of beam adoringly in the direction of schiarire, because I don't do that enough.

Because I've not had a spare moment between 9am and 10pm today (excepting an hour for lunch and a half-hour where I rebelled and read some Tom Robbins instead of studying) and I came home to find a letter that made me glow.

Because she not only went and watched BSG after I told her to, but she then made gorgeous gorgeous icons (comme ça).

Because I can put absolutely anything in an email to her, because she'll teach me French grammar over AIM for hours on end, because when I'm clawing myself apart I can send her a terse two-line message and she'll immediately throw Thom at Lucifer and make him push, which sounds ridiculous and silly but it really, really isn't.

Because she's my perspective.

Because she knows me too well sometimes, and she slips into my lazy cracks and my weak joints and pushes me to become something broader or something more precise, something sharper or something softer, when I am falling out of line.

Thank you, Ji dear.

I love you heaps, you know.

And you can flail at me if you like, but no, I'm not locking this :D
