Dear Internet,
A plain old lj-cut? IS NOT A FAKE CUT.
A plain old HTML link? IS NOT A FAKE CUT.
A fake cut involves sticking brackets and bolding tags around a plain link. THOUGH GOD KNOWS WHY ANYONE WOULD BOTHER.
I personally couldn't give a flying fuck WHAT you use to keep your fics/icons/whatevers from spamming my flist, but the anal part of me really wishes you'd get the damn names right.

In way more exciting news, today I booked my flights and bought my travel insurance and eeeeeeeee. I leave Sydney on the 27th of June and arrive in San Francisco before I left, which is a neat trick. I will then be invading the home of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
schiarire and dragging her around SF for two weeks. On the 9th of July I fly domestic to DC, spend a week being fed exciting American food and sleeping on the couch of darthrami and strange_selkie, and then: MILLICON. Hurrah. I fly out of DC on the 16th, stop over in SF again for a few hours on the way back, and then arrive in Sydney on the 18th. I will never actually live through the 17th. I'm sorry. Timezones usually cause me so much grief, it's nice to be able to find bizarre amusement in them.
