I swear, there is nothing that makes my day more effectively than getting exciting things in the mail.
Digging in the mailbox revealed a lovely Xmas card from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
cyrulean in the Tiniest Envelope Ever and the mofo package of doom from schiarire. So I'm sitting here trying to stop myself from eating the whole packet of Sour Patch Kids in one go and listening to new music and...yeah, life's fine :)
I also got to hold $1560 in cash this morning, and transport it around the city clutching my bag like a paranoid freak. It looks like so much when it's cash, and I just sort of stared at it, not quite able to comprehend that I owned that much money. The real estate agent is lucky I didn't just wander off in a financial daze and spend it on things.
BUT. Lease = signed, bond & advance rent = paid. We are no longer homeless!
We just have to beg, borrow or buy a whole lotta furniture.
And now I'm going to go and rewatch 'Mountie on the Bounty' and write up my social psych logbook at the same time, because I am the multitasking wonder.
