lists!

...which, as everyone knows, are the best way to keep track of what happens on holidays.

Read:

- Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Hunter S. Thompson (oh. dear. god. enthralling & traumatising. like technicolour trainwreck.)
- The English Patient, Michael Ondaatje (<33333333)
- Pagan's Scribe, Catherine Jinks (I will rant about how the Pagan books are my childhood sometime, remind me)
- God Knows, Joseph Heller (perhaps the only book ever to make me want to read the Bible)
- The Waste Lands, Stephen King (NEED MORE. NOW. LIKE I NEED ZEE OXYGEN.)

Bought:

- silver & garnet Eye of Horus pendant, so pretty
- black T-shirt with pale blue scribbling that, upon closer inspection, is the words 'morning star' againandagainandagain :D
- bright purple shorts. short. very short. um. I blame [livejournal.com profile] izumihydra
- $110 (oops) Colorado sandals, which have HEELS and make my legs look nice under the shorts
- secondhand booooooooks (Pagan's Scribe, The Waste Lands, God Knows and some book by Julian Barnes which I haven't read yet but bought mostly because my Barneslove is so strong)

Broke:

- sunglasses

Money spent on food:

- uncounted millions of dollars. worth it. oh yes. WHY DOES CANBERRA HAVE NO WAFFLE BARS?

DUDE

Everyone at Milliways reads them. Or will read them. Or plans to read them. Say true.

I adore the series beyond words and wish I could afford it at a faster rate.
