(no subject)
Is it just me, or is half the internet ill at the moment? I've had a viral something for the past few days, and recovering from night shifts has sent my sleeping patterns into a weird seesaw.
On the plus side, I have the house to myself for a week, so I've done my usual thing of getting overexcited about cooking. Margarita pizza! Thai rice soup (excellent ugh-I-feel-awful food)! Leek fritters! I have plans for gado-gado and fivespice tofu with egg noodles and maybe something sweet, although that's a bit dangerous when one is alone; down that road lies singlehandedly eating an entire batch of cookies in less than two days.
(UPDATE: I made blondies while watching The Mummy. These are not going to last long. I think I will spend tonight watching the sequels and eating more of them.)
