CHEM1016 - Chemistry A16 (extension)
PSYCH1003 - Introduction to Psychology I
SOCY1002 - Self and Society



(all classes are an hour unless specified otherwise)

Monday

11am - Chem lecture

12 noon - Bio lecture

3pm - Chem tutorial

Tuesday

11am - Bio lecture

1pm - Psych tutorial (2 hours)

Wednesday

12 noon - Chem lecture

2pm - Sociology tutorial

3pm - Sociology lecture (2 hours)

Thursday

9am - Psych lecture (statistics)

2pm - Bio prac group (3 hours)

Friday

9am - Psych lecture (2 hours)

11am - Chem lecture

1pm - Chem lecture (extension)



Hurrah for sleeping in on Mondays and finishing at 2pm on Fridays!

I did Introduction to Psychology I and Living Cells. I liked the former great lectures and tutes, the latter was interesting, in theory, but the pracs sucked. I escaped chem due to having done it in CIT, hooray - shame I might have to teach it soon!

Well, that's what I'm going to use the first semester to decide. The PhB is insane, they waive all prerequisites for courses and let you do whatever the hell you want.

For instance, if I decide that Intro to Psych is dull and I want to do a research project on personality disorders? Sure. Go me. I can attach myself to someone doing research and help them out - co-author papers, if I can be bothered.

I may end up doing projects over the summer to make sure I fit them all in, but it sounds like there's plenty of room to explore.

*shrugs* Not really. I'd like to do something in neuroscience, but I'm going to be open to any topics or lecturers or ideas that strike me as particularly fascinating.
