get your Lucifer Coffee (TM) !
Letter from
dredpiratejenny arrived today, making my own epistle-scrawling skills and shocking handwriting feel incredibly inadequate, but it's all to the good <3
Love you, Art. Come back soon?
Exceedingly Luciferian icon of Tori Amos lyrics and fiddling-with-filters, because I've been organising the journal's memories. I'd like to keep the storyline all in one place, though, so; ubershort summary of links and conversations, The Story Of Hob And Lucifer. For everyone who's been wondering why Milliways ate my life - this goes a fair way towards answering that.
Warning: long and emotionally involving, blood and kink and disturbing almost-smut, strong inclinations towards artsy prose and huge amounts of breakage. I don't think I've ever had so much fun in my life.
(For the record and for the pretty - this is my Lucifer, and this.)
- They are brought together by someone entirely different, and their first proper conversation is an argument that leads to manipulation and betrayal. Whoo for Judas imagery.
- From bad to worse - pain, daggers, and all the humans getting knocked unconscious. The thread that killed Selkie.
- During the long sleep - Hob dreams of fire and something approaching affection. The online dream dictionary is my best friend.
- After the awakening, a deepening of reliance and truth. Almost sweet, in a bizarre way.
- Hob's confession. Fahye gets broken into little tiny pieces. Angst galore!
- And after the first night, the angst gets worse. Liek wo.
- Confrontations, an argument leading into The Agreement. Hob's life perks up by a very small fraction.
- Introducing another player, for a while - Luck plays with Hob, and gives away something precious. Lucifer and Hob come dangerously close to the edge. And just because I liked the thread - Lucifer almost destroys Luck, and Fahye gets her power trippin' on.
- Finally, the storm breaks and Hob pushes too far. Angst angst angst.
- Lucifer is a total bastard, and in a fit of cruel randomness goes and sleeps with Schuldig, because
tammaiya and I find it amusing. Art kills me well and truly dead.
*is exhausted*
Art? We need to reconcile them, you know. So I don't have this nagging incomplete feeling in my chest and Lucifer stops being a sulky bitch in my head.
As for the subject heading...well, it's entirely the fault of Meg-mun, though
shati is welcome to a fair amount of the blame as well. Apparently I should start marketing the stuff.
