Today was spent being horribly unwell and still managing to force some decent RP out of my brain. Also some feeble pokes at my chem and maths books that didn't really get too far.
However, I also managed to find the rechargy-thing for Dad's digital camera batteries, and amused myself by taking pictures of my room.

Head of bed, showing nifty bookshelf built into the frame. I was stupid and left my pillow leaning against it - had it been down, you'd see a lot of Discworld and Neil Gaiman, Isobelle Carmody and the Three Good Anne Rice Books. The thing above my pillow that looks like a giant spider/small lobster is, in fact, the wires from my Discman headphones. The thing that looks like a giant sludgy marshmallow is, in fact, a rolled up blanket.

More posters and assorted paraphenalia.

Yes, that is about the usual state of my desk and notice board. Sometimes they're worse. Cameo appearances by my beloved laptop Marius (<3), my bizarre curtains and the Wall Of Free Postcards.

Teh Bookcase Of Doom! As you can see, it is also a repository for makeup bags, incense, trophies, photo frames, jewellery boxes and chocolate. The three soft toys appearing to have an orgy on the top shelf are my three beanie toys, thrown up there because I couldn't bear to part with them like all my other stuffed animals. The fact that the zebra appears to be having an orgasm is both entirely accidental and very disturbing, now that I look at it.
To the left: dragon quilt made mostly by mother, design and fabric choice by moi. Also CD player etc.
Not much else was accomplished today, apart from the consumption of industrial amounts of Soothers. Worked out plans for
halcyon_libra's birthday fic and my English creative. Helpfully supplied crack for
tammaiya's latest crazy project. Gatecrashed Milliways with
tahira_saki, whose Mordred is making my Galahad angst like mad.

Have I told you recently that Crowley kills me? He does. He kills me. And I want an apple core T-shirt more than life itself, but it will have to wait until I can, um, steal a credit card. Woe.

Also, I know your pain. I wanted one more than oxygen, and was full of woe until I remembered that my birthday was coming up, and that that was a perfectly valid excuse to treat myself to something.
...It's sad when you have to extort money from yourself, isn't it?

Damn. My birthday isn't til December, and I just recklessly spent $70 on manga.
Story of my life, really.

And also, I am amused that you have a free postcard wall, since my free postcard wall is, IMO, the coolest thing in my room. But I don't have posters like yours.
