more FB... including Haru, the gorgeous cow boy!
Yes, I'm going to rant about FB for a while again but have come to the conclusion that there can be no spoilers as there is no plot whatsoever ANYWAY. But if you're in a hurry then skip to the end of the ranting part, 'kay?
Have finally discovered WHY FB is called Fruits Basket, and guess what? It’s all to do with something dreadfully symbolic FROM TOHRU’S CHILDHOOD. I think that our conspiracy theory is correct, Eugenie. There is also a guy in it that seems evil but it’s all to do with an incident from his DARK PAST. Anime is so predictable sometimes.
Okay, even the other characters think that Yuki looks like a girl. His fan club makes him wear a pink dress! Hahahahahaha. And Kyo calls him a “girly boy” all the time.
Getting rather pissed off at Tohru for her complete blindness to the fact that she is living with two-possibly-three hot guys that absolutely adore her and won’t even TRY and choose one. *cough* Miki and Miaka syndrome *cough*
Oh Ali, I have finally encountered the cow guy and he is VERY COOL. His name is Haru and he has black and white hair and is very sexy indeed. Unfortunately he has a crush on Yuki, which is not being developed much, but they look so GOOD together! I stand by my assertion that FB would make an excellent shounen-ai. Or maybe not technically shounen-ai considering how feminine Yuki is. Ah well. At least FB has improved somewhat in quality and humour. And I have encountered the immortal line “Don’t walk around naked, it’s disturbing.” But since it was gorgeous Haru doing it WHAT WERE THEY COMPLAINING ABOUT? But at least you get to see the guys wandering around topless quite a bit.

Only two more days of holidays left.. *sniffs* I have been a slob all day... again... highlight so far has been sewing nametapes into my new uniform. Tomorrow am going to see Chicago in Woden and then frantically read my Road Ready book which I just discovered I am supposed to memorise or something before the course starts. Oops.
My mum has blown up at me at the amount of stuff I am currently borrowing from people. I have huge piles of stuff to give back to basically everyone (Liz I have your Miracle Girls manga) She thinks I am irresponsible and will hoard them forever. Huh.
Got an email from Anna Linsley raving about how she visited all the LOTR places in NZ and how at a special exhibit where she got to see the costumes and props and stuff she saw soemone who apparently looked EXACTLY LIKE ORLI and he smiled at her and stuff. Grrr... *jealous steam comes out of ears*
I'm going to England this year and POSSIBLY Rome as well which would be nice. But my mum is dragging us around multiple and probably identical tiny english villages to look at graveyards and find ancestors. Boring as hell THAT should be.

Anyway I have Utena 1, Mars 1-3, Miracle girls 1, Magic Knights rayearth 2, real bout highschool (CRAP!! ICK!!) 1, the 1st two kenshin DVDs from Andy, also all of 1st season buffy which i need to finish (3 eps left). It does sound rather a lot, doesn't it??
Yes FB starts of as rather pre-teen but is getting alarmingly M-rated!! Gay sex slaves etc! And proper yaoi relationships! See my latest FB rant for details there.
