So, I guess I should do a con update. Hmm.
Total merchandise gained:
* First two volumes of Fushigi Yuugi because it was cheap and I was feeling nostalgic. Read it this morning and have a hankering to watch it again, because it was the first show I loved and I still harbour fond amusement/lust for lots of the characters.
* CLAMP Southside artbook, with lots of Magic Knights and X pictures. Purdy.
* Confidential Confessions 4, despite the fact that I'm missing 2 and 3. Meh.
* ANIMEUNSW Tshirt for only $8, mwaha.
My Arashi costume was apparently quite convincing, and all my friends now think I should dye my hair black because it suits me. Joined forces with Erin, Jess and Steve (Fuuma, Kakyou and Kamui) and stalked around waving my sword and looking unimpressed. Good times.
Witnessed 'Adam and Joe go Tokyo', the best show ever conceived by cute slashable Englishmen. Didn't go to the anime screenings. Sang 'Colours of the Wind' in the kareoke room, danced to the band for a while, now wish to try Para Para because it looks like fun, if a bit tough on the shoulders.
Got home late and am really too tired to blab much further, after five hours of work this morning and cleaning the bathrooms for Mum. Finished my oral, just have to print it.
Can't - find - motivation.
Mum looked at the pics that Eujar posted and thought they were very amusing, with sounds of praise going towards Anna's costume, Alex's boots, both sets of Chi ears and Tink wearing the horns. She didn't recognise me in this photo because of the sodding wig ^^ And I was going for normal Arashi impassiveness, but instead I came out looking half-asleep. Go me.
