Have been keeping holiday hours and doing holiday things. Went to Phoebe's party, helped cook something unpronouncably Italian, and saw Down With Love. Went into the city today and spent most of my $30 ABC shop voucher on the book Tipping the Velvet.

The original fic that has been dancing quietly in my head for a while decided to take off alarmingly last night and now has a larger cast of characters and far more angsty situtations. I still refuse to write a word until I get my hands on some psychology books and work out what the hell I'm doing with their personalities.
Plus, the character that I want to be the narrator now wishes to die halfway through. Inconvenient little prick.
