JB HiFi is having a massive sale on TV -- I was poking around the Civic store today and ugh, ugh, I could have bought three seasons of Farscape for $40, or three seasons of Six Feet Under for $50, or finally got to see Green Wing, or bought The Wire for my father, or or or or or -- you know. If. I felt so sad in the wallet afterwards that I accidentally bought The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, but it was only $5 so I think I can allow myself that luxury without freaking out and slowly disintegrating under the fiscal guilt.

ANYWAY. I HAVE ABUSED PARENTAL BANDWIDTH AND AM UP TO DATE WITH WHITE COLLAR.

Oh man I have so many FEELINGS about so many things (DIANA) and so much astonishment at how blatant the Peter/Neal is becoming, and [livejournal.com profile] littledust is taunting me with the prospect of eyai!WC which is just unfair because I would eat that up with an enormous spoon.

What else have I been doing. NOT STUDYING. I read the latest Discworld book. My sister and I made caramellised apple tartlets. We watched a new Bill Bailey DVD. I continued to whack my miserable head against my Merlin AU while it cackled at my pain. You know. The usual.
fahye: ([wc] the price is steep)

I --

I CAN'T EVEN --

TOUCHING. AND HANDCUFFS. AND ORDERS. AND FLIRTING LESSONS. AND MAGIC HANDS. AND SINGING. AND LAW-BREAKING. AND TRUST, MY GOD.

HOW IS THIS SHOW A REAL THING.

ETA: wait, no, hang on, this is drastic. more caps required. )

It was going to be five, but I could only think of three, and I wanted it finished before the week of med school began :)

Boundary Conditions -- White Collar -- Neal/Peter/Elizabeth, 6342 words
It was Neal who showed him the problem with trying to solve his wife like an equation, and it's likely that the same approach isn't going to get him anywhere now.

This is a collaboration with the inestimable [livejournal.com profile] lizardspots! Seriously, you have not lived until you have seen the art she produced for this. (The link goes to a community post so we can keep the comments centralised.)

Lizard informs me that by her porn thermostat this story is only a hard R, because she is CLEARLY a perverted little cookie, but it's the porniest thing I've ever written so I feel as though I deserve to call it NC-17. (She says, petulantly.)

:D

Go, admire. Anyone leaving a comment on the fic that fails to also address how awesome Lizard's art is will be KICKED WITH BOOTS OF WRATH.

I love being on holidays, I have time to pour into really pointless and entertaining things like shoving the current SHOW OF MY HEART down your throat.

Wait! Don't run! There will be pictures, and also I will talk about bondage.

NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION )

What the hell, 3am, how did that even happen.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, LJ!

In celebration (*cough*) I have finished my White Collar fic. It isn't threesome porn but that is only because it was already far, far too long for something that is mostly devoid of plot. The porny fics will come eventually, I'm sure. I mean. Look at my icon. LOOK AT IT. Kisses and handcuffs and fedoras, oh my!

This fic features flirting, and lots of dialogue, and also physics masquerading as psychic powers (or possibly vice versa).

Biconvex -- White Collar -- Neal/Peter/Elizabeth-ish, 8663 words
"Welcome to the world of honest work, Caffrey," Peter drawled, his mood already on the rise again. "Enjoy your stay."

Things my brain COULD be working on:

A - my poor, neglected Merlin heist AU
B - the Ouran fic that I was so excited about a month ago
C - my next eyai project or five

What my brain has decided to work on:

D - NONE OF THE ABOVE.

"Fuck fuck feedback fuck," Neal groaned, and Peter was dimly aware of the other man slumping down onto the carpet, narrowly avoiding braining himself on the edge of the sharp and shiny FBI desk. "Peter, for Christ's sake --"

"Me?" Peter snapped, but just gathering enough breath to speak triggered another bout of retching. Bad idea. He switched tactics. --Cap your damn lens, Caffrey.

A pause.

--Wow, you sound ten times as pissy like this.

--Neal!

--Okay, hang on.

And just like that, the wave receded, leaving nausea and a powerful headache stranded like jetsam in its wake. This headache refused to confine itself to the Caffrey Zone; it spread tendrils all over Peter's scalp and then burrowed in hard.

--Ohhh, said Neal, sounding almost as dreadful as Peter felt. --Oh man. Okay. Maybe this wasn't my brightest idea ever.

So...I guess...White Collar AU fic it is!

*weeps bitter tears*
fahye: ([tww] she had another quality)
1) In the final stages of my leisurely West Wing rewatch. My crush on Jimmy Smits grows stronger with every episode.

2) I've readopted the habit of watching NCIS while I'm on the exercise bike every morning, and it's working out nicely in that I've lost all the weight I put on during exams, but I'm currently in the middle of S4 and I have no other seasons! And I'm pretty sure both of my siblings have already bought my Xmas presents so I can't ask for it as a gift! WHAT WILL I DO? No other show that I own on DVD has the right balance of engaging characters and procedural plots that require no concentration.

3) Responding to the effusive enthusiasm coming from all corners of the flist, yesterday I watched the pilot of White Collar. I. Well. Yes. Hello, fandom which is embracing whole-heartedly the prospect of an OT3 and also the laughably obvious possession/bondage kink that exists in the dynamic between the two leads. I -- I am going to need some icons. Yes indeed.

NOW. WHERE IS THE PETER/NEAL/ELIZABETH FIC, FLIST? HAND IT OVER.
